GO.
Over this past week, there has been a new game launched called POKEMON GO, it is an app that uses your location on your phone to where as you travel (walk, or in other words..GO) it lets you find and capture Pokemons, I’m not a Pokemon expert by any means so I will not even attempt to go there… what however has caught my attention is that merely in a couple of days MILLIONS of people have downloaded and are playing this APP! It has caught the attention of the media, employers, and people all over the world…. If it’s was a simple to get up and GO for an APP that takes seconds to download… why can’t we get up and GO for JESUS?.. who brought us the GIFT of SALVATION…
Let’s GO for Jesus! I would like to ask if you would be willing to invite someone to church this week to join you as we worship together.
Truth is, now you know Jesus, you have accepted Him and have your place in Heaven for all of eternity… Now what… We need to Share Jesus with someone else…it’s that simple. That is one piece of the next part of our journey, there is more that goes along with it of course, however that is one essential part of the puzzle. We want to be able to give someone else the opportunity that we had to have Jesus change our life, and give them the reward and gift of eternal life.
Think about who you could share Jesus with this week, a great way is an invite to church. Invite them to visit with you as you worship this Sunday after that the church will do a lot of the follow-ups and checkins with them this, will support you as your continue to wittiness to them about Jesus. Together we are a team, Team Jesus.
You see this request is so simple, and it’s a free.. but chances are many will not share Jesus this week, will not invite someone to church… Think about it, if ALL Christians around the world shared Jesus as we are called by God to do, we would be reaching more people, see more people saved, churches would start overflowing. If we all only brought ONE person, we would INSTANTLY double attendance… weird when you think of it that way isn’t it… TODAY I ask you, INVITE someone to church, and have them plan to Worship with us at ECN this Sunday as WE lift up the name of JESUS!!!!!
