Who’s Your ONE?

I am praying that your day is blessed today, I wanted to reach out to you this morning and ask that you invite someone to church starting this Sunday. Over the next couple of months, focus on the first person that comes to mind.

Maybe it’s a co-worker, a friend, a neighbor, or a family member. We all have someone (at least one) in our life that is looking for a closer walk with God, a church family, and who needs to be in church.

Who’s your ONE?

Jesus gives us a pretty direct order when He says, “Go and make Christlike disciples” (Matthew 28:19). How are you doing your part? Who are you sharing Jesus with, praying for, and inviting to the family of God?

Many times, Christian’s experience God’s transforming work in their lives, get saved and then ask “What’s next”. Well, share what Jesus has done for you with others, invite them to church with you, tell them about your experience with Jesus, and allow God to begin moving in their lives as well.

There is no doubt that our church is growing, and that God’s presence is with us each week. We have many great things going on at ECN including our Praise Team, Children’s and Teen Ministry, Discipleship Groups like Women’s, and Men’s Ministries and so much more. Invite someone to come and explore what God is doing at ECN with you, invite them to join you at church and worship with you.

Today, at the least, pick someone and make a bold move. Call them, text them, email them, send them a message on Facebook however you can, just reach out and ask them to come to church with you.

Together we can build God’s Kingdom and grow God’s church, one person at a time. It takes all of us working together and each of those ONE’s will add up very, very quickly. I am here for you in this, and with you desire to see God’s Church grow and to see what God will do in the lives of those who you invite to church.

Today, I am asking each person at ECN to begin working on someone, and to invite someone. Let’s see who all makes this bold move for Jesus over the next few weeks. Once your visitor(s) visit with you at ECN, be sure to have them fill out a visitor card (contact card) and place it in the offering plate. I would like to follow up with them, thank them for visiting with us, and encourage them to come back again.

Let’s do this together, who’s your ONE?

Blessings,
Pastor Jonathan Pannell
