Strength for Today

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” — Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)

Life can be overwhelming at times. The weight of responsibilities, challenges, and uncertainties may leave us feeling weary and drained. Yet, God offers us a promise — a renewal of strength that comes from waiting on Him.

To “wait on the Lord” isn’t about passivity. It’s an active trust, a hopeful expectation that God will move in His perfect timing. Just as eagles soar high above the storm, those who trust in God will rise above life’s trials with renewed energy and purpose.

Today, take a moment to pause and rest in His presence. Surrender your burdens and lean into His strength. The path may be long, but God promises that you will not grow weary. His power will sustain you.

Reflection Questions:

  • What burdens do you need to surrender to God today?
  • How can you actively wait on the Lord in your daily life?

Life Application: Take a few minutes today to sit quietly with God. Pray for renewed strength and trust that He will guide you through whatever challenges you face. Remember, His timing is perfect, and His strength is limitless.

Blessings!
