Scripture: 2 Chronicles 20:3 (NKJV) “And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.”
Fear is a natural response when we’re faced with overwhelming circumstances. Jehoshaphat, though a king, experienced fear when a great multitude came against him. Yet, his first response wasn’t to panic or seek human help — he turned to God.
When fear grips your heart, remember that you don’t have to face it alone. God invites us to cast our cares on Him (1 Peter 5:7). Take a moment today to surrender your fears to God through prayer. Like Jehoshaphat, seek the Lord and trust that He hears you.
Prayer:
Today, pray and as God to take over in your life when fear is trying to creep in.
Pray this Prayer today – Lord, when fear tries to overwhelm me, help me to turn my eyes toward You. I choose to seek You first, knowing You are my refuge and strength. Amen.
I am praying with you and for you!
Blessings!
