“This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.”
— Psalm 118:24 (NKJV)
The rain is tapping at your window, the sky looks heavy, and everything feels a little slower and a little grayer today. It’s gloomy on a rainy day. But guess what? Heaven hasn’t dimmed its light one bit!
Rainy days aren’t mistakes; they’re miracles in disguise.
When the clouds roll in and the streets glisten, God is watering seeds we can’t even see yet.
He’s preparing a harvest beneath the surface — in nature and in you.
Don’t let the weather determine your worship.
Don’t let the clouds dictate your calling.
Don’t let the drizzle drain your joy!
The same God who paints rainbows after storms is with YOU right now. His promises are not weather-dependent. His goodness shines whether the sun is blazing or the rain is falling.
Today, rejoice on purpose! Choose joy intentionally!
Get a little crazy — dance in your kitchen like it’s a ballroom! One of the things that Ashley and I love to do most is dance in our kitchen. We find joy in this as it continues to bring us closer together, and we also find joy in that it grosses our kids out. How about sing out loud like the whole world is listening. Or when things are tense… laugh until you lift the atmosphere around you.
You’re not stuck in a rainy day — you are blessed in the middle of one!
You are the light that shines brightest on a cloudy day.
Be the Light Today. Let Jesus shine through you, EVEN on a cloudy day!
When others see gray skies, you get to show them the golden hope of Jesus Christ!
Blessings!

Today’s Prayer:
“Lord, thank You for every day You give me — sunny or rainy. Help me to see the beauty in what others call gloom. Let me be a light, a carrier of joy, and a reminder of Your promises to everyone I encounter today. I rejoice, because You are good, and Your mercy endures forever! Amen.”
