This Little Light of Mine…..

Are you ready to be a light for The Light?

For many people we might be the only Jesus that they will ever see… What kind of image are you putting off for Jesus? In this world that we live in today, it is a dark, and dying world where it seems as though everyone gets so easily offended… We are even offended that people are getting offended… Wait, What?..  What a crazy time we live in. We are getting to the point were we are loosing focus on what really matters when we are doing things such as this. There are refugees loosing there life, children suffering, and so much more going on that has more of a priority. We have lost focus on sharing Jesus with a lost and dying world and put ourselves in the spotlight.

When we are focused on us, there is no room left in our minds to focus on Jesus and to let Him be in control. It’s time for us to get out of the way and let God be God. If we want things to happen in our lives and in the world we live in, God has got to be in control. Stop being selfish, for we are a selfish people. We need to get back to praying for our enemies and loving them and not finding ways to hurt them and get back at them. God is Love. And we are no lovers when we are doing the opposite of what God wants us to do.  What image are we putting off for God? Think about it. God is Good, let us act like it and show people the love of our Lord.
